The Florida Department of Citrus (FDOC) is an executive agency of Florida government charged with the marketing, research and regulation of the Florida citrus industry.

Our Departments

The FDOC has extensive regulatory responsibilities, covering every aspect of the Florida Citrus industry, including research, production, maturity standards, licensing, transportation, labeling, packing, and processing. It also serves to promote and protect the Florida Citrus industry through marketing Florida Citrus products.

Economic & Market Resources

The Economic & Market Research Department provides data and research analyzing the Florida Citrus industry and Florida Citrus growers.

Finance & Budget

The Finance and Budget operations provide up to date information on the finances, budget, and purchasing procedures of the Florida Department of Citrus. 

Global Marketing Communications

The Global Marketing Communications Department activates programs that raise awareness and drive sales of Florida Citrus products domestically and internationally.

Inspector General

The Inspector General provides coordination and responsibility of activities that promote accountability, integrity, and efficiency in government at the Florida Department of Citrus.

Legal

The Legal Department provides contact information for businesses licensed by the Florida Citrus Commission, information on how to request a public record, access to legal forms and information pertaining to FDOC rules and statutes, fiscal policies and contact administration.

Scientific Research

The Scientific Research Department provides support for the Florida Citrus industry and the Department of Citrus marketing programs through sponsorship of health and wellness medical research.  It also provides support to growers through collaboration on special projects.
