The American Chemical Society honored Bela Buslig, a retired Florida Department of Citrus researcher, for his contributions to citrus research, including the instrumental measurement of color of citrus juices, according to the News Chief. Selected for their outstanding accomplishments in chemistry, 99 scientists were inducted into the 2014 class of ACS Fellows at a meeting held in San Francisco in August.
