Fresh Plaza reports that a rare white grapefruit hailing from Florida hit Texas stores recently. Michael Schadler, director of international marketing at the Florida Department of Citrus points out that while much of the white grapefruit grown in Florida goes to Japan, some niche supermarkets sell it in the U.S.
