The St.Augustine record published a University of Florida news release announcing the Coca Cola Co.’s second $1.5 million donation to sustainable research programs managed by the Citrus Research and Development Foundation Inc. (CRDF), aimed at preventing the spread of citrus greening.

The news release includes a quote from UF senior vice president for agriculture and natural resources, Jack Payne, who noted that funding, which will be distributed in $500,000 increments over the next three years, will allow researchers to “move farther, faster, as they work to find a cure for citrus greening.”
