State-Wide “Artfully Garnished” Campaign Includes Launch Parties, Brewmaster Visits and $10,000 Donation
DENVER – Twenty years ago a brewmaster went from bar-to-bar to help educate wait staff and bartenders on how to best serve his beer. In one hand, he had his beer. In the other hand, he carried a bag of oranges. That brewmaster was Keith Villa, founder and head brewmaster of Blue Moon Brewing Company, and those oranges are now the ubiquitous garnish beer lovers enjoy while sipping Blue Moon Belgian White.
As a proud supporter of orange growers, Blue Moon Brewing Company is honored to team up with the Florida Department of Citrus for an all-Florida “Artfully Garnished” campaign beginning now through May. In addition to spotlighting the affinity between one of America’s favorite beers and some of the best citrus in the world, Blue Moon Brewing Company will make a $10,000 donation to the Florida Citrus industry.
“Everything we do at Blue Moon Brewing Company comes from our ‘Artfully Crafted’ approach to brewing,” said Keith Villa. “The same rings true for orange growers who, each season, utilize and hone their skill to produce the best possible product. Growing oranges is their own piece of art, much like brewing beer is ours and – together – we’ve created a nice little masterpiece.”
The “Artfully Garnished” campaign has full local marketing support including launch events in Miami, Tampa and Orlando, as well as co-branded activations at a variety of local fairs and festivals. Additionally, there are in-store point-of-sale, brewmaster sampling events, branded glassware giveaways, as well as print, digital and out-of-home media support and public relations.
“We are proud to partner with such a beloved brand,” said Florida Department of Citrus Executive Director Doug Ackerman. “Much like the brewmasters at Blue Moon Brewing Company, Florida Orange growers are dedicated to providing consumers with the best product possible. This partnership is a perfect fit.”
