Ingredients

  • ½ cup Florida Orange Juice
  • 1 large sweet potato, pureed
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 medium ripe banana
  • 1 tbsp. almond butter
  • ¼ tsp. ground turmeric
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp. ginger
  • ½ tbsp. flax seeds
  • ¾ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 handful of ice

1. Preheat oven to 400° F.

2. To make the sweet potato puree, peel the sweet potato, split the sweet potato in half lengthwise, lightly oil and place face down on the foil-lined baking sheet. Bake the sweet potato until soft or for 25-30 minutes.

3. Add the Florida Orange Juice, sweet potato puree, banana, almond butter, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, chia seeds, almond milk and ice into a blender.

4. Blend until smooth.

5. Pour into two tall glasses.
