Every citrus grove in Florida is being impacted by citrus greening. Citrus greening bacteria affects the health of the tree resulting in reduced fruit size and quality over time is the main contributor to a lower citrus crop of 67 million boxes – down from 81.6 million in the previous harvest season. However, growers are optimistic that the strategies they are implementing now will stabilize the industry and pay off in the future.
