Our Vegan Sweet Potato Smoothie provides an excellent source of fiber, which is great for overall digestive and gut health. Featuring the amazing taste of Florida Orange Juice, the smoothie offers a wealth of nutrients ensuring you have energy throughout the morning.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Florida Orange Juice
  • 1 large sweet potato, pureed
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 medium ripe banana
  • 1 tbsp. almond butter
  • 1/4 tsp. ground turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tbsp. flax seeds
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 handful of ice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  2. To make the sweet potato puree, peel the sweet potato, split it in half lengthwise, lightly oil, and place face down on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake until soft, about 25 to 30 minutes.
  3. Add the Florida Orange Juice, sweet potato puree, banana, almond butter, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, chia seeds, almond milk, and ice into a blender.
  4. Blend until smooth.
  5. Pour into two tall glasses.
