- 1 cup Florida Orange Juice
- 2 large red onions, thinly sliced
- 5 cups water, boiling
- ½ cup lime juice
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- Large Mason jar
Instructions
- Place sliced red onions into a large mixing bowl.
- Boil water and pour over sliced red onions. Fully cover the red onion slices in boiling water for 10 seconds, then drain.
- Transfer the drained red onion slices into a large Mason jar.
- Mix the Florida Orange Juice, lime juice, sugar, and salt together in a separate bowl.
- Pour the mixture over the red onions and let sit, covered, for at least 4 hours.
