Ingredients
- 1 cup Florida Orange Juice
- ¼ cup cider vinegar
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tbsp. steak sauce
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. paprika
- 2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. orange zest
- 12 beef short ribs, whole ribs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Traditional Method:
Beef Short Ribs with Florida OJ Barbecue Sauce
1. Prepare hot smoker to 250° F.
2. Season short ribs with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Smoke for 3 hours, basting with ½ prepared barbecue sauce until short ribs are fork tender. Discard any remaining basting sauce.
4. Serve short ribs with reserved Florida Orange Texas-Style Barbecue Sauce on side.
