Baking cookies is a beloved holiday tradition for many families. We like to add Florida Citrus flavor to ours for some seasonal sunshine! These Florida Orange Juice Spiced cookies are simple to make and easy to love—a tasty treat that brightens up any occasion.  

Ingredients

  • ⅔ cup Florida Orange Juice
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 1 cup margarine or butter, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. grated Florida Orange peel

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375° F.
  2. In a large bowl, use a hand mixer to combine sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
  3. Add sour cream and eggs and blend well.
  4. Add remaining cookie ingredients and mix well.
  5. Place rounded spoonfuls of cookie dough onto a non-greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake for 8 to 11 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.
  7. Remove from cookie sheet to cool, then serve.
