The Citrus Sparkler Mocktail is Florida sunshine in a glass.  Florida Orange Juice, Florida Tangerine Juice and orange blossom water combine with homemade orange syrup for a bright, concentrated citrus taste, topped off with club soda for a satisfying fizz. As the days get warmer, you’ll stay cool with this refreshing treat!

Ingredients

For Orange Syrup

  • Zest of 1 Orange (no pith)
  • 1 cup superfine sugar
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 1/2 oz. Tangerine Juice
  • 1/2 oz. lime juice
  • 2 drops orange flower water*
  • 2 oz. club soda, chilled
  • Ice
  • Lime Slice

For Mocktail

  • 1 1/2 oz. Orange Juice

For Garnish

  • Orange Slice

Instructions

For Orange Syrup:

  1. Prepare in advance. Combine Florida Orange zest, sugar and hot water and stir to dissolve sugar. Cover and let sit overnight at room temperature.
  2. Strain and discard zest; cover and store in refrigerator for up to 1 week.

For Mocktail:

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine Florida Orange juice, Florida Tangerine juice, ¾ oz. prepared Orange Syrup, lime juice, orange flower water and ice.
  2. Shake and strain into a tall glass over fresh ice and top with club soda. Garnish with Florida Orange slice and lime slice.
